Tradition of brutal the ordained-to-be

Held at Ban Non Salao, it is considered the only ancient tradition in the world. It takes the first day of the waning moon of the sixth month every year. A man who can be ordained has to endure the pain and hold himself firmly on the bamboo sled. He is thrown brutally as he is carried it around the village along the distance of more than 3 km.
