Ku Daeng
Located in wat Kut Yang, it is an ancient site of the Khmer period. Currently, only the indented square base made from laterite remains. There are traces of stairs leading up on all 4 sides. A lintel carved with a picture of Krishna fighting with an elephant was found. The northern part was converted by the temple to create a seated Buddha image, with stairs leading up to cover the original building. This archaeological site was built around AD 11 in line with the Khmer art of Baphuon.
