It has a territory covering forest areas in Khon San, Kaset Somboon and Nong Bua Daeng districts. It has an area of approximately 1,800 km2, taking care of wildlife conservation, cultivation and propagation of wild animals. In the years 1983 and 1992, a royal project initiated by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit released wild animals in this area, such as barking deer, mouse deer, deer and birds. Thung Kamang is open for visitors from 8 am-3 pm and will not open for field trips from the end of August for 3 months as the area is rich in forests and wildlife.

How to get there: From Chaiyaphum province, take Highway No. 201, continue along Highway No. 2055, you will find a wildlife sanctuary on the left. The distances is approximately 24-25 km.
