Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary (Thung Ka Mang)

It has a territory covering forest areas in Khon San, Kaset Somboon and Nong Bua Daeng districts. It has an area of ​​approximately 1,800 km2, taking care of wildlife conservation, cultivation and propagation of wild animals.  In the years 1983 and 1992, a royal project initiated by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit released wild animals in this area, such as barking deer, mouse deer, deer and birds. Thung Kamang is open for visitors from 8 am-3 pm and will not open for field trips from the end of August for 3 months as the area is rich in forests and wildlife.

How to get there: From Chaiyaphum province, take Highway No. 201, continue along Highway No. 2055, you will find a wildlife sanctuary on the left. The distances is approximately 24-25 km.
