It is a part of Phu Laen Kha. If travelling along the Chaiyaphum-Nong Bua Daeng route, you will see a high cliff along the way like a crescent moon sticking out. The villagers therefore call it Pha Keung, which means moon in Isan language. In addition, in the temple area, there is a relic of Pha Keung and a museum of antiques. Pha Keung is located about 36 km from the city on Highway No. 2159 (Chaiyaphum – Nong Bua Daeng).
