The tradition of making merit with incense sticks (the merit-making of 10th month)

Ban Ratdamnoen at tambon Nong Bua Daeng, amphoe Nong Bua Daeng, Chaiyaphum province holds the merit making of incense sticks. It is done in 3 days before the end of Buddhist Lent of every year to pay homage to the Lord Buddha by burning incense sticks-a symbol of the tree of the Indian subcontinent. The incense sticks are taken as a devotional to the Lord Buddha.
